During the term of the contract, Stellantis invested more than $12.6 billion in its U.S. assembly plants. These investments included:

• Building the first new assembly plant in the city of Detroit in more than 30 years to produce the all-new Jeep_® Grand Cherokee L and its plug-in hybrid model
• Retooling our Jefferson and Warren Truck plants to support the growth of the Jeep brand
• Transforming a transmission plant in Kokomo, Ind., into an engine plant 
• Making strategic investments in our powertrain facilities to support our electrification goals

In addition to the investments required to bring new products to market, we implemented a number of projects to maintain and enhance our facilities to ensure the health and safety of our employees.
