As a consequence of the UAW strike action at the Toledo Assembly Complex (TAC), Stellantis has a total of 640 represented employees on temporary layoff. This includes employees from: 

• Trenton (Michigan) Engine Complex: 520; last day worked Oct. 6 
• Kokomo (Indiana) Casting: 50; last day worked Oct. 6  
• Toledo (Ohio) Machining: ~70, last day worked Sept. 22 

These layoffs are due to storage constraints.  

The approximately 300 employees previously laid off on Sept. 22 from the Kokomo Transmission and Kokomo Casting Plants returned to work on Oct. 9. Stellantis continues to closely monitor the impact of the UAW strike action on our manufacturing operations.
